As you have probably heard, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief recently came to theaters. The main idea is a normal NYC boy who gets sucked into the world of Greek mythology for reasons far too delicious to post on my lowly blog. I actually thought it was quite excellent. So excellent, that my fellow Americans and Theater Goers felt the need to laugh so loudly that I couldn't hear the best parts. In fact, it was actually somewhat accurate to real Greek mythology. Go figure right? Anyway, I've started to notice that every time some new movie/TV trend trend comes out (vampires, etc.) then everyone goes with it. We now have Clash of the Titans to look forward to as well as who-knows-what-else. Not that they won't be good, but it gets pretty monotonous after awhile. I guess that's why these movies are such a hit. Plus, this director is like, my hero.
